Look Ma No Hands

I finally decided that after 3 treadmills and years of hit and miss training and hanging on for dear life, it’s time to learn how to do it right. Starting yesterday I let go and didn’t fall off. I still have a little trouble with balance which really works the legs and feet, but I think you get a much better workout if you can pump the arms. It sure got my heart rate up a lot faster.

Told Neil (who only exercises his thumb on the remote) I will end up out living him if he doesn’t get up. Then, Jeanie you’ll like this, I’ll take the insurance money move to Japan and be Nagano-san’s Mama-san. That still didn’t get Neil out of his chair. He told me to have a good time. Nothing I say can motivate that man to exercise. Oh well !

I'm very proud of you and all of the hard work you are putting in at the gym.

Some men are just couch potatoes. I have one of those too. Sometimes you just have to do your own thing. If that means you have to go to Japan and get yourself that hunk of a man, then I say, "Go for it!" I'll go with you. Gotta hurry and write this before hubby walks in and discovers my secret plan- ha ha!

These poor men- we do give them such a hard time, don't we?? :-)

Sometimes they deserve it. Mine gets mad because I nag but he doesn't realize I just want him healthy for a long time. Oh well I can't do it for him.

See, what you women don't realize is that we men try to better ourselves, but you keep standing in our way. It's that whole passive-aggressive thing they tought you in middle school (you know that movie they only showed to the girls?? I'm on to you!!).

I, for one, have been trying to get in better shape, and what does my wife do?? She cancels the gym membership! Why not just shove Twinkies down my throat!!

After so much abuse, we men are only motivated enough to lift the remote. So stop picking on my father!!

PS - love you Mommy!

Hey- are you going to let your son take sides here? Anyhow, everyone knows that the mother's side is ALWAYS the correct side.

Nice to meet you, Davwax. You'll have to excuse my twisted sense of humor! :-)

Don't worry Jeannie, he only gets away with talking to me that way on the computer. And Davy you forget I know why she cancelled the membership. Besides we both know she used it more than you.
