MY BORING LIFE AND GOOD FRIENDS

I was looking at my blog the other day and noticed I hadn't written anything in almost a month. Started thinking about things I would like to talk about and realized what an uneventful and boring life I lead. I also realized that is maybe not such a bad thing.

The best thing that took place was in a package from Jeannie The Genealogy Guru. What a wonderful friend she has become. The picture below is my family tree. She graciously took time out of her busy schedule to trace my roots. There is a lot more information then appears on this chart which she placed on a CD for me. She has traced parts of my family as far back as the 1500s. I find it all very interesting and can not begin to express to Jeannie how much this means to me and to my Aunt Bernie. Thank you dear friend.

Below is my one endeavor for February. I painted my woman cave. I am not sure you can tell by the picture but it is a pretty pale dusty burgundy to match my burgundy leather recliner. I have made more room by getting rid of things I don't need. I need the space to workout. Girls notice the picture above the treadmill. I moved some other things around but that picture stays where it is for inspiration. Now that my room looks so fresh and clean I may only come out to eat and sleep and say hi to Neil once in a while.

I love your woman cave, pam. (Oh, that could sound... "not nice", if you were the kind of person to think "not nice" thoughts, couldn't it?)

You know what I mean, tho, don't you. Love the picture, too. Where my treadmill is I can't hang mine on the wall and leave it up. Hubby says he will not have 'that guy' hanging up on the wall of any bedroom I expect him to sleep in. Well... I finally relented and took the picture down. HA! Just kidding.

Neil and I have been married too long for him to care.

It is a nice cozy place to hide out.
