El Paso's Future

I am a very proud mother right now. My son Andy happens to be one of the teachers who has helped to inspire these young people. These young people inspire me. Just imagine having your Associates Degree before your High School Diploma. Some of them can even build robots. Way to go kids!!

It's really nice to see the positive work of teachers!

Thanks for posting this Mom. I would encourage everyone to actually go see the video on youtube. The more hits we get, the more recognition we get, the higher the likelihood that D.C. will actually take notice of what these kids are doing, and they deserve all the accolades & support they can get.

I think it's easy to see in just 5 minutes how amazing these kids are, & I get to work with them every day. I have the greatest job in the world.

That's awesome! My best friend (my daughter's godmother) is a teacher, and I hear from her how hard it is but also how rewarding it is. I have a great deal of respect for teachers.

A little more bragging.

These 23 didn't just earn Associate's degrees before finishing high school. 10 of them graduated with honors, 17 were on the dean's list, and 1 made the president's list (4.0 overall GPA). Additionally, 21 of them are 1st generation college graduates.

Pam, paste the original Youtube link so we can all go there like Andy says and the hits increase.

You have done the world good bringing up such a son.
